Instructions:
- For Tuesday 2/7, you need to create a 5-minute rhetorical argument.
- Each team has a different “Audience.”
- One member of your team (Or MORE, if you want) will deliver it on Tuesday. One member of your team will role-play the person being persuaded for another team.
- I will judge them on Tuesday. Best team gets +2 to their paper.
- You are starting a new company! Name it. Figure out what it does (or makes).
- You have identified your “audience” as an essential investor. This person is the one person that can make all your business dreams possible.
- Create a 5 minute presentation to persuade them to invest in your new company. (You’ll deliver it Tuesday.)
- You can use any rhetorical strategy but you MUST appeal to logos, pathos and develop ethos, each, at least once in your pitch.
